Death Valley will not Defeat us!

After several water-crossings in Pahrump and along the way through Death Valley on Hwy 190, we were ready for this challenge - Go Marc! Go Joe!

We all made it through safely only to be turned back 15km later

Death Valley was CLOSED!!!

Was it because Marc and Mary were there?

Time to find another route to Lone Pine, Death Valley will not defeat us. We went north on I-95 and headed back though on another road. We finally arrived safe and sound, in the dark, in the rain and we know now why the road was closed. No pictures because it was too dark, too cold and too rainy.

Rain in the Desert

Once again we have brought the rain with us!! Who would think we would be here on the one rainy day since.... Oh yes, the locals could not recall the last time.

Water crossing all though the town of Pahrump, NV. About 1 foot deep with lots of small debris and a few passing cars splashing us.

A little tired from our flight in but we find the time to hit the strip.
