We start our trip in Las Vegas where we pick our Triumph Motorcycles and make our way across Death Valley into California. We head north to Lake Tahoe, through Humboldt Redwoods State Park, down the legendary Pacific Coast Highway through San Francisco all the way to Cambria. We eventually make our way back to Las Vegas passing through San Andreas, China Lake and Mojave National Preserve.

Avenue of the Giants
A stop on the middle of the Redwood Forest

That's a one a big a tree (inside joke)

We crossed form Red Bluff to Fort Bragg. We lost count of the number of mountains we crossed and of course with mountains come curves... Tons of them! We rode the curves for hours. In fact we felt it was a little like Ground Hog Day.
We took a few breaks in the woods, with some some dancing to loosen the joint ( see video ). And at our gas stop there was a gathering of hippie teens - hanging out, doing laundry, cooking....
Riding through the giant Redwood Forest was beautiful.
Near the end of the day, we could see the ocean on our GPS and then as we came out of the forest - we were right on the edge of the cliff and Hwy 1 begins!
